Mission: lose 40 lbs by my 40th birthday. Brilliant. I wish I could take the credit for it. The credit goes to Kareema, my new workout buddy. The plan is to beat each other into submission at the gym. Try out new machines. Mix it up. Keep it fresh. Make it fun.

We will begin with MWF evenings and go from there. Not too much, not too little. Also, I will try to write a bit after each workout to keep track of our progress. This feels right. Not overwhelming. Not overly ambitious. Just right.
